The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) organised in Vienna, Austria, in May 15-19, the conference on Nuclear Decommissioning titled “Addressing the Past and Ensuring the Future”.
During a special session dedicated to the EURATOM Activities on the Decommissioning of Nuclear Facilities chaired by the EU Project officer, Ben Hadj Hassine Seifallah ( https://www.linkedin.com/company/ben-hadj-hassine-seifallah/): H2020 Project sisters were presented: amongst them: ANUBIS, PREDIS, HARPERS EURATOM, MICADO, PLEIADES Platform, LD-SAFE Project, INNO4GRAPH Project.
For Inno4Graph, Philippe Lefevre from EDF presented the achievements reached so far.
To get familiar with five of these H2020 projects (INNO4GRAPH Project , LD-SAFE Project, PLEIADES Platform, CLEANDEM Project and INSIDER H2020), have a look at the article “European collaborative efforts to achieve effective, safe, and cost-controlled dismantling of nuclear facilities” which outcomes are summarized here (https://lnkd.in/eKYujMSP).
They result in a unique data and knowledge common base, as well as in a significant sharing of experience based on dismantling projects already carried out or to come. They also result in designing new tools or methods natively taking into account the needs of a maximum of dismantling operators, as well as new test facilities.
